More and more, classified advertisements for real estate, jobs and cars are leaving the pages of print newspapers in favor of online databases. Responding to this development, the Georg von Holtzbrinck Publishing Group has joined forces with strong partners to offer advertising portals on the Internet.
ISA GmbH & Co. KG, founded in 2003, today markt.gruppe GmbH & Co. KG, combines online classifieds with the established classified offerings of regional daily newspapers. markt.gruppe runs the online exchanges immowelt.de (property ads), stellenanzeigen.de (job ads), markt.de (mixed ads), motoso.de (ads for car parts) and trauer.de (obituaries).
Joint shareholders Ippen Group and WAZ Media Group together with other media partners give the markt.gruppe portals a wide regional coverage. markt.gruppe now forms the largest media network in Germany, with its services used by the online versions of 109 newspapers.
