Tom Doherty Associates
Since its formation in 1980, the New York publisher Tom Doherty Associates has concentrated on publishing science fiction and fantasy literature. Various imprints keep adult and younger readers entertained and excited – whether in hardback or in paperback editions.
The world’s most successful science fiction imprint is Tor Books. The publisher has won the much coveted Locus Award for the best science fiction and fantasy publisher seventeen consecutive times. The most important books include The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan and Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind. Tor Books also publishes suspense-filled books for children and young adults.
Forge specialises in historical novels and thrillers. Tor and Forge are also leaders in American Western novels.
