Based in Berlin, the event forum of the Georg von Holtzbrinck Publishing Group conceives, plans, organises and stages national and international conferences, symposia, award ceremonies, faculty endowments and exhibitions on current topics in economics, science, society and culture. It thus performs a crucial aspect of public-relations work for one of the major publishing groups in Germany and makes a significant contribution to the furthering of interdisciplinary dialogue. This exclusive service is also offered to external partners.
The portfolio of the event forum features the Holtzbrinck Prizes for Science Journalism and Business Publishing. Significant projects include the
Samuel Fischer Guest Professorship for Literature at the Free University of Berlin and the
Picador Professorship for Literature at the University of Leipzig.
